Tanya Moulding, the @perfumemistress , will guide you through the origins of perfumery and the remarkable role of aromatic plants in this immersive mini masterclass. Enjoy a hands-on, interactive session learning the art of natural perfumery, from its long history to perfume structure and classification, training the nose and blending ingredients.

A variety of essential oils and absolutes will be available for use on the day, with time for sampling and discussion. You will learn about basic perfumery composition and blending to create your own 10ml natural perfume to take home with you.

Tanya is a practising clinical aromatherapist, aromacologist, botanical perfumer and educator. She has taught historical perfumery at many English Heritage sites and local museums, and delivers public and corporate sensory engagement events on olfaction and botanical blending.
